Amanda,
a local author, has taken to writing children's books to fund
pioneering treatment for her blind five year-old son. He was
born 17 weeks early and complications left his eyes badly
scarred, UK doctors could not do anything for him so she has
now pinned her hopes on stem cell treatment in China. The
sales of this book will go towards funding his treatment.

Amanda has been a keen artist since she was very young, discovered
her passion was working with soft chalk pastels where she could
blend rich colours. She has fully illustrated her book, and
Amanda is currently working on her second book. |
