He flew Lightnings. F4 Phantoms and the Tornado F3 and displayed Hurricanes and Spitfires on the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. As a senior officer, he commanded the famous I I I (Fighter) Squadron, was Station Commander at RAF Coningsby and finished his service as the Commander-In-Chief of RAF Personnel and Training Command. Christopher is a Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. He is also currently Chairman of Westland Helocopters in Yeovil and lives in Litton Cheney, West Dorset. |
The
