It's a stormy night outside the Ark. Little Eber is too frightened to go to sleep so he climbs into Grandpa Noah and Grandma Nora's cosy bed. But why is Eber's hair so tickly, and his toenails so scratchy, and his nose so snuffly, and why does he take up so much room? Cold and sleepy, Noah and Nora set out to find out exactly WHO is spending the night in their bed.

LIS COPLESTONE finds delight in words and images. She works in a community arts centre, where she aspires to share this enthusiasm with others.

JIM COPLESTONE studied Graphic Illustration at Exeter College of Art and completed an MA in Theatre Design. His rapport with children has led him to work as a primary school teacher, arts workshop leader, and home-tutor and this is apparent in his lively ink pictures.

Jim and Lis are a husband-and-wife team. Their books include Sunshine and Storm and Moonlight and Shadow (both Ragged Bears).This is their first book for Frances Lincoln.
