Village
Voices:
Farming Families contains the stories, memories, thoughts and hopes
of different generations of 15 farming families. Interviewees talk
about the past, recalling the ways the land was farmed and the people
who did it. They speak in depth about farming today, sharing their
lives and helping us better understand the present realities of
working the land. They go on to tell us their plans as they look
into the future with differing degrees of hope.
Familiar names adorn the pages. Eveleighs, Edwards, Dobles, Framptons
and Frosts; just some of those that feature in a fine and valuable
record of the area.
