recently came to The Book Shop with her daughter Miranda to sign
copies of her latest book.............. 'Where

Tamasin Day-Lewis, better known as Tamasin Day-Lewis, (born
September 17, 1953 in London) is an English television chef, daughter
of the poet Cecil
Day-Lewis and actress Jill
Balcon , and sister of the actor Daniel
Day-Lewis. She writes for the Daily Telegraph, Vanity Fair,
Vogue and Food Illustrated.
After attending Bedales School, she went to Cambridge University
in 1973 to read English at King's College, unlike her father, who
went to Oxford University but lectured for a time at Cambridge.
Her daughter Miranda
Shearer is also a published author and is currently writting
for the local Western Gazette.
