Victor
Vernon Woolf
Dr.
Woolf is a recognised world trainer, speaker and consultant. He
is a member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences and Director
of the International Academy of Holodynamics and has received many
awards including the Academy of natural Science's top award for
'outstanding contribution to science and society' in 1996.
His
background in physics, education, religion and psychology established
an integrated approach to consciousness that was the basis for his
remarkable record of success.

The
Dance Of Life
This
is the most recent of Vernon Woolf's books and I believe it could
well prove to be - is proving to be - a revolutionary work in the
field of consciousness research, and a revolutionary book in that
field is going to have major repercussions everywhere.
As background,
Dr. Woolf is the American thinker and teacher with high qualifications
in Physics, Developmental Psychology and Comparative Religions who
has developed "Holodynamics".
Holodynamics
views reality as a coherent, dynamic, living, holographic information
system whose structure, from micro (smallness) to macro (bigness)
is intimately connected with human consciousness. Consciousness
is considered a prime condition of the holodynamic universe. It
is not limited to a single space-time continuum but emerges from
parallel dimensions into a coherent potential for each individual
(the Full Potential Self). This personal potential manifests as
a quantum potential field within the microtubules of every living
cell of the human body and controls all body functions as well as
mental and social functions.
Before
everyone drops off to sleep or goes into a light trance on reading
this admittedly theoretical description of Holodynamics, consider:
Vern Woolf was one of the prime movers if not the prime mover in
taking the Soviet Union from a "war room" to a "peace
room" mentality and ushering in Perestroika and the end of
The Cold War. This was not done by sheer force of personality, though
Woolf has that in spades.
This
marvellous book details the author's work in Russia, the Middle
East (working towards ending terrorism) and the USA (ending drug
abuse in 6 cities and "curing" 80% of the inmates of a
mental hospital).
In a
short book review it's difficult to even outline Woolf's work but
one key insight is the distinction between "particle"
and "wave" mentality, neither of which ever resolves issues.
From a particle view, a problem is a set of unsatisfactory circumstances
that must be analysed in order to find a solution. The particle
mind cannot see the whole picture. In contrast "Wave"
mentality is non-linear, emotional and people who reference life
from this position "feel" their way through life. The
wave mind also does not fully comprehend reality.
The particle
mentality has been endemic in our culture at least since Newton,
to the extent that when anyone today has personal problems that
resist solution , they visit a therapist who will seek to know the
facts of the past in order to ensure a future that avoids the problems
of the past. Rarely is such an enterprise successful, except with
talented therapists who manage to encourage their patients to think
"outside the box", to see the "whole picture",
even though the implicit assumptions in the therapy are that the
keys are to be found in a linear, analytical approach.
On the
other hand, about a century ago, the birth of quantum physics brought
about a revolutionary change in how we view the world. In attempting
to find the smallest particle, we found there was no such thing
- only "standing waves" of information. Wave processing
of information is non-linear, emotive and referenced on "gut
level" feelings. However, this view of reality is also partial.
Reality
viewed from either the particle or wave mentality is never complete
- we only see part of the picture. Only when we are present can
we view the whole dynamic, where everything is connected. We are
part of a hyperspacial quantum field of parallel worlds and multiple
dimensions where everything is driven by potential.
I thoroughly
recommend this book to anyone interested in the birth of an exciting
new paradigm. In the context of this same paradigm, I also recommend
the last chapter of Stephen Hawking's book "The Universe In
A Nutshell".
